AKA’s ‘Mass Country’ Album To Be Released

In the midst of their grief, AKA’s family has decided to honor his legacy by moving forward with the release of his highly anticipated album, The Mass Country, on February 24th, 2023. This decision was made to celebrate the life of their son and to ensure that his final work is shared with the world as he intended.
Before his passing, The Mass Country was already one of the most anticipated albums of 2023 in South Africa, and AKA was fully invested in the project. The release of The Mass Country will be managed by AKA’s team at Vth Season, The T Effect, and Sony Music Entertainment Africa. In honor of AKA’s wishes, the next single release will be Company, a collaboration with his longtime friend and collaborator, Kiddominant. The single was recorded in Los Angeles during his January holiday and is scheduled for release on Friday, February 17th.
